What This Guide Covers

Part A — NET English Paper 2 (the 10 official NTA units)

Part B — Beyond Paper 2

Why one guide for NET and PhD? Since the UGC's 2024 reform, PhD admissions at central universities — including JNU, DU and BHU — run on UGC NET scores followed by a viva, rather than separate university entrance exams. Qualifying NET also makes you eligible for Assistant Professor posts. This guide prepares you for the written exam, the research proposal, and the interview — the complete path.
