1. About This Platform

VICTORIA INSTITUTIONS ("VI", "we", "our") operates an online digital book publishing, sales, and online course platform at victoriainstitutions.com. By accessing or using this platform — as a buyer, student, author, or visitor — you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree, please do not use this platform.

2. For Buyers and Students

Books on this platform are sold as digital online editions, readable on any device through your personal library. Online courses, study guides and study materials (such as the Science Foundation Course) are sold as ongoing access to their content, usable on any device. Some courses and study materials offer a few lessons or sections free as a preview; the rest is available only after purchase. A purchase gives you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the book, course or study material for personal use only.

• Books are not downloadable, printable, or shareable.
• Course lesson content is for your personal use only and may not be copied, downloaded, screen-recorded, or shared.
• Each book, course, study guide or subject must be purchased individually — there are no subscription plans.
• Book prices are inclusive of applicable taxes. For online courses, study guides and study materials, GST is shown separately and added to the listed price at checkout; the total you pay is shown before payment.
• Purchases are final. Please refer to our Refund and Cancellation Policy for details.
• You must register and verify your email address to access a purchased book or course.
• Access to a purchased book or course continues for as long as this platform remains available — see "Platform Availability" under Limitation of Liability below.

3. Buyer Account

To purchase a book or course, you must create an account (or sign in with Google), with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

• You must provide accurate and complete information at registration.
• You must verify your email address before you can log in and access a purchased book or course.
• You may not share your account with another person or allow others to access your library or course.
• An account can be signed in on at most two devices at a time. Signing in on a third device automatically signs out the device that has gone longest without being used.
• If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, please contact us immediately.

4. Payments

All payments on this platform are processed securely by our third-party payment gateway, Cashfree Payments. Victoria Institutions does not store your card or bank account details.

• Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated. Book prices are inclusive of applicable GST; for online courses, study guides and study materials, GST is added to the listed price and shown separately at checkout.
• Payment must be completed in full before access to a purchased book or course is granted.
• In the event of a payment failure, no amount will be debited from your account. If an amount is debited but access is not granted, please contact us within 7 days at admn@victoriainstitutions.com.

5. For Authors

Authors who register on this platform agree to the following:

• You affirm that you are the sole author or authorised rights-holder of any manuscript you submit.
• You affirm that your manuscript does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
• A non-refundable screening fee is payable upon submission. This fee covers the cost of reviewing your manuscript and does not guarantee acceptance.
• If accepted, a formatting fee is payable before formatting work begins. This fee is non-refundable once formatting has commenced.
• Upon acceptance and publication, you grant Victoria Institutions a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and sell your book on this platform.
• Authors retain all copyright in their own work.
• Victoria Institutions retains 20% of each sale as a platform fee. The remaining 80% is paid to the author monthly by UPI or bank transfer.
• Victoria Institutions reserves the right to remove a book from sale if it is found to infringe third-party rights or violate these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this platform — including the website design, layout, code, and Victoria Institutions' own publications — is the property of Victoria Institutions and is protected by applicable copyright law. You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or use any part of this platform without our written permission.

Authors retain all copyright in their own works published on this platform. Buyers and students acquire only a personal, non-transferable right to read a purchased book, or work through a purchased course, on this platform.

7. Prohibited Use

You may not use this platform to:

• Copy, reproduce, screen-record, or redistribute any book or course content.
• Attempt to circumvent any access restriction or digital protection measure.
• Submit manuscripts that are plagiarised, defamatory, obscene, or in violation of any law.
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent any restriction or policy.
• Use automated tools to access, scrape, or download content from this platform.

8. Refunds and Cancellations

All purchases of digital books and online courses are final and non-refundable, as access is granted immediately upon confirmed payment. Please read the book or course description carefully before purchasing.

9. Limitation of Liability

Victoria Institutions provides this platform on an "as is" basis. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free. Our liability in connection with any service or purchase is limited to the amount paid for that service, book, or course. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses.

Accuracy of Content. Our books, online courses, study guides and study materials are prepared with great care, but inadvertent errors — in the text, questions, answers, explanations or code — may still occur. VICTORIA INSTITUTIONS cannot take any responsibility for any such errors or omissions, or for any loss or damage arising from reliance on them. Learners are advised to cross-check important points with standard textbooks and their teachers. If you notice an error, please tell us through our Contact page so that it can be corrected.

Platform Availability. This is an online system, and we cannot guarantee that any book or course will remain available on this platform forever. The access you have purchased will remain available for as long as this web portal is functional and in operation. Victoria Institutions is not liable if access to purchased content is lost due to the platform, or a third-party service it depends on, being discontinued, becoming unavailable, or ceasing to operate.

10. Privacy

Your use of this platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using this platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in that policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms or your use of this platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kozhikode, Kerala, India.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of this platform after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
